Dear Readers, My video blog today is about having memories, sometimes unpleasant ones...that shape who you are. I pray that you find it meaningful. See you next time, Arlen
Thanks Bertie for your comment. I really liked the song too and it was played on the radio all the time back then. I just associate it with some painful memories.
Thanks Rita. There are several songs from that time that I still can hear. Like the Doobie Brothers "Listen to the Music", or Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly Now". I can actually remember driving in my car and hearing them. Also, one bar I can remember that was in in a basement, if you can believe it, and it had these songs blaring. I remember, however, how lonely I felt. I think it was the Holy Spirit tugging at my heart.
Very good Arlen! Your message is passionate and moves the heart. Truth is a word and meaning that has been so trampled on and ripped apart by the world -- even by some Christians I know. Truth to me is so valuable; it always wins in the end.
Thanks a lot Joe. Without saying it directly I wanted people to be directed to think who the truth is? It's Jesus who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

I love that song. Comes from my era too. I'll think of it in a new way now. Thanks

I love that song, too. But more so I really enjoyed the message you pulled from the lyrics. Thank you for being an inspiration.
